The Adakite East Gold Band by Emily Nixon, an irregular, rocky wedding band bearing all the characteristics of Emily’s rugged aesthetic. Gender-neutral, suited to everyone. Handcrafted in Cornwall by Emily and cast in 18ct recycled, refined yellow gold using the traditional lost wax process. 

Constant experimentation, playfulness and development of ideas, alongside a mindfulness of the relationship each piece has with the wearer, drives Emily’s creative process and output. The dichotomy of the precious and the organic – special stones encircled by sea-worn fragments of gold – characterises so much of her inspiration. At the heart of Emily Nixon’s work remains the sculpture and tapestry of her early fine art practice.
